Eleek wins four "Architect's Choice for Excellence" (ACE) awards from Architectural Lighting Magazine
Eleek, a sustainable design and manufacturing company based in Portland, Oregon was recognized in all four categories of the sixth annual ACE Awards. The winners were chosen by the readers of Architectural Lighting magazine (primarily architects and lighting designers) to recognize manufacturers of lighting for innovation and reputation. The awards were announced in the November/December issue of Architectural Lighting (published in late December) in a special award section (pages 43-55).
Eleek was voted among the “Most Innovative,” “Most Respected,” “Most Frequently Specified” and “Top 30 Manufacturers.” One of only three companies named in all four categories, Eleek was awarded first place in the “Most Respected” and “Most Frequently Specified” classes. “We are excited and honored to be chosen in all four categories of the ACE Awards this year,” said Eleek co-owner Sattie Clark. “Eleek is a relatively small, new company and we never would have expected to get noticed amongst such esteemed competition. We are especially happy to be recognized for our innovation in product design, and we like to think that includes our commitment to sustainability.”
The ACE Awards allow the architectural community to vote for the lighting products and services that exemplify excellence in durability, customer service, value, and design. Nearly 88,000 of the industry’s most qualified architectural professionals, and 25,000 of the industry’s most qualified architectural lighting professionals, were asked to make their selections for the best manufacturers.
