Lighting Restoration, historic replication +
retrofitting
Part of Eleek’s mission is to change the way people think about what they buy. We believe that using what you already have is often a more sustainable choice than purchasing something new, no matter how “green” that new product is. Toward that end, we are proud to offer complete restoration and retrofitting services for luminaires, going far beyond just cleaning and rewiring (see the Portland Art Museum case study for a good example of what this means). Our rare Old World skill set and mastery of modern energy-saving lamping technologies makes Eleek uniquely qualified to restore and retrofit lighting of historic value as well as modern luminaires. In addition to restoration, we can also replicate any fixture from a whole or partial model, or even from photographs or drawings.
For all of this information in one place and larger images of restoration projects, you are encouraged to download our printable PDF booklet. (1.6MB) We also recommend you view the restoration portion of our custom portfolio for a visual overview (link follows).
