PROJECT HIGHLIGHT

CINETOPIA

BEAVERTON, OR

Completed in June, the Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14 opened July 1st, 2011. To help bring the theater to life, Eleek was commissioned to make 153 Piet Mondrian-inspired light fixtures for the luxury movie theater.

The fixtures range in type from small table lamps to moderately sized sconces and pendants made up of various colors of eco-friendly resin which radiate a warm, pleasant glow.

Please see the photographs below to see the fixtures, or better yet, go visit them in person and nab dinner and a movie while you’re at it.

This tall eco-resin chandelier hangs in the Cinetopia lobby.

Two table lamps cast a subtle glow over one of the parlor lounges.

Oversized but homey sconces warm one of the parlor theatres.

This small chandelier completes a sitting area off of the main lobby.

Two sconces frame a screen in a hall outside one of the parlors.

Mondrian-esque sconces bring an artistic flair to a large auditorium.

PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT

Last year we officially expanded our Masa hardware line by adding a 30 inch tall Obi Door Handle to the mix, for the Japanese American Museum of San Jose in California. An excellent addition to any project with a Japanese style.
