Masa
Eleek's beautiful collection of recycled cabinet hardware is named Masa (after our favorite Portland sushi chef). These original pieces have a sparse, modern look, but also embody the formal sensibilities of classic Japanese design.
As of March 31, 2008, this line is being made of 100% post-consumer recycled aluminum sourced locally from The ReBuilding Center, a building material reuse non-profit located less than a mile form Eleek's North Portland shop. The ReBuilding Center provides Eleek with clean aluminum scrap from donated screen doors and storm windows that are not reusable. The product line was originally released in January of 2007 and was made of 100% recycled aluminum (70% post-consumer) sourced through Eleek's local foundry.
The Masa hardware collection is also available in 90% recycled bronze. Optional artist patinas are available (see FINISHES AND CARE).

Decorative and functional, Eleek’s asian-inspired “sushi” trays are available in 100% recycled cast aluminum or 90% recycled cast bronze. With a food-safe clear powdercoat finish, these trays make perfect serving dishes. They also work well for soap, keys or trinkets. Optional artist patinas are available (see FINISHES AND CARE).
