One of our favorite projects, northwest Portland condominium blends the exterior look of “an urban brownstown with modern architecture inside and out.” Eleek bollards around the exterior of the building illuminate the tastefully landscaped sidewalk level, and two stunning Eleek pier mounts cap the gate to the Vaux’s private courtyard.

This is the only easily accessible project Eleek has done in this neighborhood, but you may want to stick around for a little while. Just down the street you will find the historic Besaw’s Cafe, which is an excellent breakfast and lunch spot. It also holds the distinction of being the first restaurant in Portland to legally sell alcohol after the prohibition. Other good choices nearby include St. Honore Bakery, offering authentic French baked goods and Food Front, a grocery coop with a great deli and outdoor tables.
